West Zone Champion: Hong Kah Sec

Hong Kah Secondary have emerged champions in the West Zone 'C' Division Soccer Tournament after beating Jurongville Secondary 2-1!

I feel very irritated coz this is the second final we had to play against JVS after the first final was called-off when we were leading 2-0 in the 1st half due to lightning, but at least all turned out well as we still managed to be champions the 2nd year running.

The first half was super tough coz JVS put 10 players in front of the goalpost. Despite dominating the 1st half, we still couldn't find the breakthrough. But in the second half, due to our better fitness, we managed to score in the middle of the 2nd half.

When we scored the first goal(thanks to my great assisting), we started to drop our tempo game. That nearly proved costly coz in the last 5 min, JVS scored an equalizer and we thought we were going to play into extra time. But thanks to our captain, he lifted us up and we started playing our high tempo game again.

And 2 min later, we were back in the lead.
